HPC Team Leader

£65,000-£70,000

I currently have a fantastic new position for a HPC Team Leader to join a Global, Earth Science client. You will be working with a dedicated HPC Team to develop the DevOps environment and lead the transition from legacy IT approaches to a more Agile way of working.

Responsibilities:

• Mentor and coach members of the team.
• Improve and develop existing systems, technology and infrastructure.
• Ensure the operational maintenance model and tools used are efficient and well-designed.
• Provide third line technical support for escalated issues.

Experience Required:

• Experience leading/ mentoring a team of colleagues
• Strong experience with Linux, ideally in a HPC environment.
• Good experience with Agile Project Management
• Knowledge of Ansible, OpenStack, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Docker is highly desirable.
