Exciting opportunity to work with our client an international IT consultancy and solution provider supporting customers' digital transformation of products and core processes.
Our client is currently seeking a dynamic System Engineer to join their Aerospace & Aviation division, overseeing advanced avionics hardware and software systems, and guiding projects from conception to completion.
There are multiple vacancies, from grad-entry level to mid-consultant level.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing comprehensive system specifications for both airborne and ground equipment.
- Generating and managing documents while maintaining traceability between them, collaborating with customers to understand their requirements. Drafting integration specifications and conducting rigorous testing.
- Participating in daily operations within an international aeronautical setting, utilizing specialized laboratories, including a full-scale integration rig.
- Daily tasks will mainly involve defining system requirements, devising test procedures, performing independent or collaborative testing using company RIGs and with suppliers, analyzing data, producing formal reports, and supporting the software development team.
Required skills:
- Proficiency in industrial/aeronautical communication standards and protocols such as Ethernet/AFDX, MIL 1553, ARINC 429, RS422, RS485, etc.
- Basic understanding of on-board systems and the avionics/systems development process is advantageous, and basic knowledge of industrial processes (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A).
Education: Bachelor's or master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering.
A B2 Level of English proficiency is imperative for this role.
