Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced CCTV and Intelligence Manager to lead our Community Safety Team. In this role, you will manage and develop CCTV operations, ensuring seamless integration of technology and intelligence to enhance public safety and reduce crime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management:

    • Oversee the operational administration and maintenance of CCTV and intelligence systems, including the control room.
  • Intelligence and Data Management:

    • Manage the ECINs case management system for intelligence collation and crime statistics.
    • Maintain a comprehensive 24/7 intelligence system to support crime reduction.
  • Strategic Development:

    • Identify opportunities to enhance and grow the CCTV service.
    • Implement an annual camera and infrastructure investment plan.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration:

    • Liaise with internal departments, regulatory organizations, partners, and contractors for effective service delivery.
    • Develop intelligence-sharing mechanisms and partnerships.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:

    • Ensure compliance with legislative frameworks and data protection regulations.
    • Conduct quality reviews and implement best practices.
  • Project Management:

    • Manage new CCTV deployments and re-deployable camera networks for crime hotspots.
    • Support CCTV project delivery partners in upgrade programs.
  • Financial Oversight:

    • Monitor budgets, invoices, and purchase orders, maintaining accurate finance records.
    • Achieve annual investment targets to sustain the CCTV service.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Provide technical advice on CCTV issues to stakeholders.
