Position: Senior Service Designer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design concepts and create as-is and to-be service blueprints for data services.
  • Design and integrate systems for use across multiple services.
  • Lead the design and implementation of service strategies to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify processes to measure and visualize outcomes and successes.
  • Gather and understand the needs of business stakeholders, managing their expectations effectively.
  • Set direction and embed good user-centered design practices within teams.
  • Make important decisions based on research and understand how this research impacts others.
  • Conduct and interpret evidence-based research, incorporating findings into your work.
  • Mentor other user-centered design colleagues and advocate for user-centered design.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in service design, particularly within the public sector.
  • Strong ability to create detailed service blueprints and design concepts.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in conducting and interpreting evidence-based research.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Expertise in user-centered design practices and principles.
