Location: Can be located anywhere on the Atlantic Coast from NY down to N. Carolina, GA, S. Carolina, FL

We are actively seeking an outside Regional Sales Manager to oversee our South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and Maryland territories. The Regional Manager will oversee 8-12 Territory Sales Representatives. The ideal person will have experience in outside sales of windows, doors, roofing, lumber, special construction products or similar.

The Regional Sales Manager will provide coverage, communication, and support within the sales organization so that they can increase deposits to align with company growth goals.

The RSM is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations as they relate to sales in a designated geographic territory and focusing on new accounts.

  • Maintaining existing accounts
  • Experience selling to General Contractors highly desired
  • Directly managing the performance of a team of Territory Sales Managers.
  • Assembling a team of sales professionals to manage successful sales programs in specifically identified geographic area.
  • The RSM will be responsible for recruitment, initial vetting as well as recommending potential candidates to advance through the hiring process.
  • Addressing performance opportunities when necessary and implementing the progressive corrective action process, and if needed and while collaborating with HR, through termination of a TSMs employment.
  • Visiting each market a minimum of two times a year, announced or unannounced.
  • Meeting with customers with or without the territory sales manager in attendance.
  • Periodically meeting with contractors, designers, and architects.
  • Attending the Annual NAHB International Builders Show.
  • Along with the National Vice President of Sales periodically attending local shows within their territory.
  • Accurate and timely reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Technical sales experience with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role
  • Driver's License
  • CRM software
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals/teams, coaching, inspiring and know how to do the heavy lifting.
  • Stable employment history
  • Must come from a background selling specialized products

Salary: 110K-130K, OTE 300K-400K
