This role is responsible for leading the Procurement, Replenishment, and Logistics arms of our Supply Chain team. Reporting directly to our Director of Supply Chain, this is a full-time, on-site position at our facility. Remote work is not available for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning to optimize supply and transportation logistics, ensuring products are always where they need to be.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Sales, Sourcing, Product Development, and Maintenance.
  • Utilize your critical thinking skills to drive operational excellence while leveraging our robust procurement system.
  • Solve complex supply chain challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Purchase raw materials and finished goods based on production schedules, inventory levels, and cost.
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics providers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to expedite deliveries and resolve any production or quality issues.
  • Manage contracts with vendors for small package, LTL, truckload, and container shipping.
  • Oversee the documentation and record-keeping processes to ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR 6+ years of experience in business management, merchandising, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience leading supply chain teams is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MRP operating principles is required.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with experience working with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
  • Is proficient with data analytics, able to translate large volumes of information into actionable insights using tools like Excel (experience with Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, and Looker is a plus).
  • Familiarity with import/export processes and associated documentation is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage large data sets and make informed decisions.
