About the Role:
In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in our property team, handling residential conveyancing matters for our clients. You can choose the cases you take on, backed with the full ongoing support of company directors and colleagues. You will be responsible for the entire conveyancing process, from initial client contact through to settlement. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating contracts for the sale and purchase of property
- Conducting thorough title searches and liaising with relevant government bodies
- Advising clients on legal matters related to property transactions
- Preparing and reviewing loan documentation and liaising with lenders
- Calculating adjustments and disbursements for settlements
- Attending settlements on behalf of clients
- Ensuring all transactions comply with relevant legislation
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a qualified Conveyancer
- Strong understanding of NSW property law and conveyancing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files effectively
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Availability and a want to network
- Proficiency in legal software and conveyancing platforms (e.g. PEXA)
