Workers Compensation Lawyer (Applicant Side) - Sydney

Zylo has teamed up with a highly regarded Sydney based law firm, known for their outstanding client results and customer care.
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Workers Compensation Lawyer to join their team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation to injured workers in their claims for compensation. Ideally this position will be part time 4 days a week, however full time will be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients on all aspects of Workers Compensation claims, including:
- Determining entitlement to compensation
- Advising on medical treatment options
- Negotiating settlements with insurers
- Preparing and filing necessary documentation
- Representing clients at hearings and mediations
- Liaising with medical professionals, insurers, and other relevant parties
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Maintain accurate client files and billing records
- Contribute to the development and improvement of firm processes and procedures
- Provide support and guidance to junior lawyers and paralegals (if applicable)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Workers Compensation Lawyer (Applicant Side) in NSW
- Proven track record of success in achieving positive outcomes for clients
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong client service orientation and empathy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Admission to the Supreme Court of NSW
