Zoom are recruiting for our client a leading catering distribution company who are seeking skilled and experienced 7.5T drivers to join their professional team in Charlton.

This is a customer facing role and you will act as a representative for the company, not just a delivery driver.

As a 7.5T multi-drop driver, you will be expected to deliver a range of parcels & goods to commercial customers. This role will include route planning, completion of paperwork, parcel & vehicle checks, making deliveries / collections and providing the best possible customer service.

7.5 Tonne Driver Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks reporting any faults to Line Manager ensuring that the Company vehicle is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition
  • Loading goods safely onto vehicle for delivery
  • Ensure all scheduled deliveries are completed on time
  • Ensure that all Proof Of Delivery paperwork is completed
  • Present a professional image to the customer by being pleasant and courteous at all times
  • Ensure Company uniform is worn at all times and is kept clean and tidy
  • Fuel Efficiency & Safe Driving

Driver Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6AM starts (usually back by 2-3pm)
  • 7.5T drivers paid a minimum of 8 hours each day

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving license with 7.5T Cat C1
  • Driver CPC
  • Digi Card
  • Previous multi drop experience essential
