About the job Drivers Assistant
We are looking to recruit Drivers Assistants for an immediate start to work with a prestigious and leading home delivery network in the UK. The Driver Assistant role involves manual handling of furniture products. We are looking for candidates who can deliver an excellent customer service.
Driver Assistant role:
- Helping the driver to deliver and install furniture items to customers homes
- Calling ahead when out on the road and letting customer know estimated times of arrivals
- Being always polite and courteous when dealing with the customers
- Guiding the driver whilst they reverse out of any space, or any road is good health and safety policy and teamwork
- You may be required to work in the warehouse and preform other duties as required
Driver Assistant criteria:
- 7am starts
- Monday to Saturday MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON A SATURDAY
- Every Sunday off and one day off during the week however during busy periods, overtime is available
- Finish times can vary but usually finish by 4pm depending on the bookings and traffic.
- £11.03per hour
- Paid weekly
