Operations Manager
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a permanent position as an Operational Manager for our high-end retail client who are based Birmingham. The purpose of the role would be to manage the day-to-day operations of the distribution centre operation, developing and maintaining an outstanding knowledge of systems, processes and services and ensuring standards and health & safety requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the annual throughput of c.4 million units in a secure environment.
- Fulfilment of stock to 250+ stores nationwide and 500,000 e-commerce orders.
- Manage an annual warehouse budget.
- Drive performance and KPIs through effective management.
- Responsible for an average of 90 indirect operational and administration staff.
- Manage all aspects of new stock deliveries into the DC.
- Manage the reverse flow of goods from stores to their agreed inventory disposition.
- First-line problem resolution for Logistics Warehouse Management
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Operation Manager or strong Supervisor experience
- IOSH Qualified
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Packages
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high performing team.
