Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Women's Health & Pelvic Floor Focus

Zona Physical Therapy & Wellness is expanding and seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with an interest in women's health and pelvic floor rehabilitation to join our growing outpatient practice in Buford, Georgia.
This position is ideal for a PTA who is passionate about helping women improve their strength, mobility, confidence, and quality of life through individualized, compassionate care.
Our clinic provides pelvic floor and women's health physical therapy, along with orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgical care, balance and neurological rehabilitation, and wellness and recovery services.
Pelvic floor experience is preferred but not required. We welcome new graduates and experienced PTAs who have a genuine interest in women's health and are eager to develop their pelvic health skills through mentorship and continuing education.
Position
- Part-Time: 20 hours per week
- Opportunity to grow into a Full-Time position

Compensation
$24–$30 per hour, based on experience and pelvic health training

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled treatment under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Work with female patients receiving pelvic floor and women's health rehabilitation
- Implement individualized plans of care established by the supervising PT
- Provide therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, strengthening, mobility, and other appropriate interventions
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, movement, recovery, and wellness
- Treat orthopedic and other outpatient physical therapy patients as needed
- Accurately and timely document patient progress
- Create a comfortable, professional, and supportive environment for patients
- Collaborate closely with the supervising PT and other members of the clinical team
Ideal Candidate

- Has a strong interest in pelvic health and women's health
- Enjoys working one-on-one with patients
- Is comfortable discussing sensitive health concerns professionally and compassionately
- Wants to develop specialized skills in women's health rehabilitation
- Values patient education and relationship-based care
- Is motivated to grow with a developing pelvic health program
Requirements
- Active Georgia PTA license or eligibility for Georgia licensure
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Professional and compassionate approach to patient care
- Team-oriented with a growth mindset
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Pelvic health/women's health experience is a plus, but not required
- New graduates with a strong interest in pelvic health are encouraged to apply
