Key Responsibilities

• Battery prototypes, including cell assembly, module assembly, and pack assembly
• Design, plan and build of test rigs and associated hardware
• Conduct experiments to evaluate battery performance, including cycling tests, thermal tests, and electrical tests
• Analyse test data and provide feedback to the engineering team
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions to improve battery performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new battery products and technologies
• Maintain laboratory equipment and tools, and ensure a clean and organized work environment
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of battery build and testing processes

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience in battery assembly and testing
• Hands-on experience with battery cell assembly, module assembly, and pack assembly
• Experience with battery cycling testing, thermal testing, and electrical testing
• Familiarity with battery chemistry and materials is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and regulations
