Our client is a technology powerhouse that designs, engineers, and manufactures the most advanced automotive technology and hypercars.
We are looking for an easy-going person, but also self-driven, entrepreneurial, and highly independent in their work, that will enjoy rising to the challenge and have fun pushing the limits of technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Battery prototypes, including cell assembly, module assembly, and pack assembly
- Design, plan and build of test rigs and associated hardware
- Conduct experiments to evaluate battery performance, including cycling tests, thermal tests, and electrical tests
- Analyse test data and provide feedback to the engineering team
- Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions to improve battery performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new battery products and technologies
- Maintain laboratory equipment and tools, and ensure a clean and organized work environment
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of battery build and testing processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 3 years of experience in battery assembly and testing
- Hands-on experience with battery cell assembly, module assembly, and pack assembly
- Experience with battery cycling testing, thermal testing, and electrical testing
- Familiarity with battery chemistry and materials is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and regulations
