The Role:
As the Head of Engineering for the EMEA region at our client, you will lead and enhance the engineering capabilities in Cyprus, Hungary, and Eastern Europe. Reporting to the CTO, you will spearhead the engineering function with a visionary approach, driving growth and maintaining excellence in various domains. Your key responsibilities will include leading innovation initiatives, recruiting and mentoring top-tier talent, setting performance metrics, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear engineering vision aligned with strategic objectives

- Set performance metrics, conduct leadership evaluations, and implement professional development plans

About You:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Deep understanding of financial technology, particularly trading systems
- Strong technical leadership capabilities and domain experience in global trading products
- Comprehensive knowledge of software architectures, engineering patterns, and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
