Dental Assistant Floater - North Coast Dental Excellence

North Coast Dental Excellence is seeking a skilled and adaptable Dental Assistant Floater to join our dedicated team, providing essential support across our practices in Oceanside and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during various procedures, including restorative work, surgery, implants, and endodontics.
• Prepare, organize, and sterilize instruments and dental equipment, maintaining rigorous infection control standards.
• Perform dental scanning and imaging with accuracy to support diagnostic processes.
• Deliver exceptional patient care, providing comfort and guidance throughout treatment visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment coordination as needed.
• Adapt quickly to different practice environments and actively contribute to a positive team culture.
• Monitor and manage inventory to ensure all necessary dental supplies are well-stocked.
• Perform basic front desk duties, including scheduling and patient communication, if cross-trained.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of chair-side experience.
• Must be able to work Saturdays (9 AM - 5 PM) and weekdays (9 AM - 6 PM).
• Strong verbal communication skills to support basic front desk responsibilities.
• Experience with Open Dental software is a plus.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
• Valid California Dental Assistant certification/license.
• Radiography certification preferred.
• Proficiency in dental scanning techniques and imaging procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
