Responsibilities:
As a Senior Structural Engineer in this role, you will need:
- Experience with analysis and design
- Proficiency with engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA & TEDDS
- Ability to produce hand calculations
- Deliver design work, construction site support and inspections
- Prepare Technical reports, Scopes of Work, Material Specifications, CDM activities & Inter discipline design coordination
- Assisting team members to promote their technical and professional development
Qualifications & skills:
- (BEng or MEng) Degree, Qualified Structural Engineer
- All-round technical design expertise - British / international standards, and/or Eurocodes
- Seismic knowledge, dynamic and extreme environmental loading is highly beneficial
- Ability to prepare bids and proposals
- BIM packages knowledge
- Design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork experience
