About the Role
Join a leading architectural planning practice dedicated to redefining the environment, our industry leading client is currently hiring for a seasoned Architectural Technologist to join their talent rich team and friendly studio dynamic. As an experienced Architectural Technologist you will display passion and professionalism, collaborating with team members across all RIBA stages 2 and onward. This is a great opportunity for a creatively focused, ambitious individual that can hit the ground running and partake in the delivery of schemes recently secured. You will need to work closely with the wider design and technical team members, alongside external parties including clients and contractors. A confident, decisive manner is essential to allow programme milestones to be met, in addition to strong communication skills, and proven project running experience.
Key Responsibilities
Work within a collaborative team across RIBA stages 2 and onwards all
within residential, hotel & leisure and commercial projects.Ensure the design standards are both maintained and met.
- Have a sound knowledge of current UK Building Regulations in the relevant sectors.
- Attend design team meetings, and showcase leadership across internal teams.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, local authorities and contractors on projects.
Guide juniors on design and technical details when needed.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of three years' post qualification experience, with a proven
ability to design in accordance with statutory design requirements.Proven strong portfolio of work.
Excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills.
- Client facing and confident to take part in meetings with wider project team members.
Friendly, collaborative approach and be truly passionate about what you do.
