Key Responsibilities
At a glance.
Overall aspects of project design.
- Contract Administration including financial control in coordination with QS and certification under guidance of team leaders.
Brief taking and documentation.
Client Liaison.
Design team coordination.
Chairing and documenting design team meetings.
Attendance at (and running of where necessary) site meetings.
Assisting senior team members in the preparation of project programmes.
- Project runner and design team coordinator generally focusing on a single primary project.
Client liaison on small commissions under guidance of team leader.
Representative the practice externally through client and consultant liaison.
Mentor for less experienced staff members.
Developing project and team leadership roles within the practice.
- Developing design approach and bringing experience to the realisation of design concepts.
Key role in the development of design proposals from inception to completion.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- RIBA Part 3 - Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Practice essential (The above can be replaced with equivalent qualifications from other countries supported by a UK NARIC Statement of Comparability)
Current registration with the ARB as an Architect.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative design and graphic skills.
Exceptional communication skills for effective teamwork.
Confidence in correspondence with clients and stakeholders.
Have efficient problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD and Revit for rendering and visualisation.
- Outstanding time management, with the ability to handle workload around tight deadlines.
Willingness to learn, share knowledge, with a passion for career progression.
