SAP Process Integration (PI) Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Our client is seeking for an experienced SAP Process Integration (PI) consultant to join their current project.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding fully the current integration setup and its challenges, designing , configuring, and optimizing the integration solution in the new PI system.
• This role involves close collaboration with various application and technical teams to understand and implement seamless integration across different platforms and applications within and across the enterprises.
• Design, setup, and optimize SAP PI integration solutions in accordance with best practices and business requirements
• Configure and/or customize SAP PO system including integration flows, adapters, and communication channels
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business, technical, security requirements into technical specifications
• Provide guidance, advice, and approach in the deployment of new integrations and the migrations of existing integration solutions to the new SAP PI system
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in a timely & effective manner
• Ensure that all integration matters are delivered on time, within scope and meeting the requirements
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of integration processes to improve efficiency and reliability/stability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration, mapping, and processes.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with relevant parties effectively
• As current customers PO environment is not the standard setup, the candidate must learn and work closely with customers team on current complex architecture.
• The candidate should gain knowledge on how the landscape had evolved over the years due to fine-tuning, bug fixes, betterment to handle the different message patterns.
• Besides the technical support (e.g. Basis or PO technical skill), the candidate to take up some functional skill set or business integration.
• Especially integration to other complex system such as MDMS.
• The candidate needs to be creative and thinks outside the box for solutioning as the candidate will encounter different problems, patterns, and shortfalls within this complicated landscape.

Qualifications:

- proven experiences of more than 10 years in complex integration projects

- strong understanding of integration patterns such as messaging (routing, transformation, construction, etc.) and integration technologies (SOAP, REST, API, etc.)

- proven experiences in driving and facilitating design workshops with various key stakeholders

- knowledgeable in security aspects of integration solutions

- knowledgeable in SAP modules (e.g., FI, Cost accounting, Customer Engagement, ISU) and their integration points

- ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find out-of-the-box solutions

- good analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills

- good communication skills

- SAP certification in PI is highly desirable

MUST HAVE - > should have an experience upgrading PO 7.5 SP 22 to PO 7.5 SP 30. (Non-negotiable)
