Job Description

You will be responsible alongside the Management Committee, the Senior Management Team and other workers for the effective running of the organisation, in accordance with the Management Policy, ensuring that it meets the needs of BAMER who have been made homeless as a result of physical, sexual, emotional or mental abuse. To provide immigration advice, casework and support to migrant and refugee women and girls who have experienced domestic violence.

Duties

1. To be responsible for advocating and advising women who have experienced VAWG.
2. Managing a complex caseload of women with insecure immigration status
3. Keeping up to date with relevant changes in legislation and case law
4. Interviewing and advising clients face to face, telephone and email
5. Delivering presentations to professionals on NRPF and VAWG issues.
6. To provide high quality immigration advice, support, information and applications for women and girls who have experienced VAWG and in particular, harmful practices.
7. To support organisation to gain OISC accreditation and ensure staff who are giving immigration

    advice are fully compliant with OISC. 

8. To ensure compliance with advice work external and internal quality standards inducing OISC.
9. To ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of work, providing regular reports to our funders with the

    ability to deliver projects on target. 

Contract: Full time, till September 2023.
