We're seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in managing software development projects across diverse teams. You will be crucial in aligning technical efforts with business objectives, ensuring smooth coordination between teams and delivering successful outcomes on time and within budget.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage multiple software development projects simultaneously, ensuring effective coordination between geographically distributed teams.
- Act as the main liaison between teams and clients or stakeholders.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
- Motivate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication, understanding of roles and responsibilities, and alignment on project goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, keeping them informed with regular project updates and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them
- Monitor progress against milestones, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Evaluate and refine project management methodologies to improve efficiency. Promote best practices in Agile, Scrum, or other frameworks used by the team.
What Were Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience managing software development projects across distributed teams
- Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, etc.)
- Experience with software version control and issue-tracking systems.
- Basic technical knowledge. including familiarity with database concepts (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in English (C1)
- Scrum Master certification is highly valued.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field
