We're looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the team.  You will assess and analyse the existing operation and drive continuous improvement in our busy warehouse environment.  Achieving results through the team will ensure the efficient running of the warehouse is in line with company and customer requirements.

 

Reporting to the Inventory & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the flow of goods, within the Logistics warehouse, including storing goods, delivering items to customers and controlling stock levels;
  • Assist with Manager with planning and organising the warehouse personnel in daily requirements;
  • Adherence to regulatory requirements applicable to hazardous goods storage and transport processes;
  • Safe work practices are maintained at all times.

You will have previous logistics/warehousing experience and exhibit the following attributes and abilities:

·         A sound knowledge of inventory systems and stock control including warehousing bar coding systems;

·         Proven knowledge of H&S requirements;

·         High attention to detail and excellent computer and keyboard skills;

·         A “can do” attitude and strong work ethic;

·         Excellent communication skills – written and oral;

·         Excellent time management and organisational skills;

·         Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing setting;

·         Ability to build relationships with customers and our internal teams;

·         Forklift/Reach experience is preferred, but not essential;

·         Experience with MAF Transitional Facility certification is preferred, but not essential.
