Description

Zaka is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our technical team. This position will include maintaining the existing software solutions and developing new features by implementing designs and technical changes. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Python/C++ & Linux OS.

Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities and Duties

• Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the current Video Analytics pipeline that exist at Zaka
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Researching different software programs and maintaining proper software documentation
• Coordinate closely with the company executives
• Complete projects while ensuring that the solutions meet all company standards and receive final approval 

Qualifications

• Experience required: 2 to 3 years

• Bachelor's Degree in related field: Engineering, Computer Science

• Experience in programming (preferably in Python / C++)

• Technical competency
  

• Willingness to learn and take on new development challenges

• Ability to take ownership of work, including asking for support when needed
• Ability to work in an environment with ambiguous and changing requirements
• Ability to communicate and collaborate on diverse teams across skill levels and subject knowledge
• Ability to adapt and manage tasks efficiently
• Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly
