The Company is looking for a smart, energetic and self-motivated mechanical / industrial engineers with prior fabrication, manufacturing or shop floor experience in the capital equipment for industrial sector, as well as supply chain management exposure.

Due to substantial business growth and customer demand, the team is expanding and growing. The Company is a small private company, family owned, but a global leader in its field and boasts a strong reputation in the industry with thousands of installations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze scope from Application Engineering and Customer specs, engage in clarifications and dialogue, and identify system equipment components and buy-outs to be costed/sourced from vendors

• Ensures quotes from vendors and fabricators are technically aligned and compliant to RFQ requests

• Negotiate with vendors and fabricators best prices and terms

• Source new vendors and fabricators to improve project execution and financials

• Ensure GAs, PFD, P&IDs and other technical specifications are accurate and representative of what is being designed for the customer

• In collaboration with Project Managers executing on orders, manage outside fabrication and vendors relationships to optimize equipment solutions and support

• Improve process and documentation to institutionalize knowledge and execution

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering – REQUIRED.

• Masters Degree or other qualifications in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering – preferred.

• Min 5-7+ years of experience in a role managing fabrication, manufacturing and/or supply chain of capital equipment builders destined to industrial customers – strongly preferred.

• Prior roles such as Manufacturing Engineer, Fabrication Engineer or Proposal Costing Engineer or track record in a similar role, company or equipment manufacturing

• Ability to effectively commute with both internal and external customers (up sell as needed); required Strong written communication skills

• Fluent in AutoCAD, Inventor or related software to assemble PFD, P&ID, etc

• Financial acumen

• Expert in MS Office and other relevant systems
