About the Role:
Join our team as a Marketing Strategist, where you'll work with our Marketing Team, Creative Team, and Data Team to implement custom strategies that increase customer retention using email marketing. This involves following our playbook for campaigns that produce results according to our services and scope, as well as innovating new campaign ideas based on the data we analyze and using your technical marketing knowledge to increase KPIs.

Mission for Marketing Strategist
To maximize client revenue by:
Increasing campaign revenue results
Following our playbook for our standard campaign strategies
Exploring innovative messaging methods
Building and managing client relationships during check-in meetings
Identifying new client pain points and implementing possible solutions
Building trust with our clients by being seen as the expert marketer
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients to gather info and content for campaigns
Increase customer satisfaction and campaign success
Present monthly report presentations with confidence
Collaborate with designers to strategize on-brand, high-converting email designs
Analyze results and drive record-breaking numbers
Utilize a variety of email marketing platforms for all clients
Implement end-to-end campaigns, including copywriting and email building
Manage email marketing platform accounts for 7-8 figure stores
Conduct research and analysis on store/brand background, products, and customers
Design and manage post-purchase email flows
Conduct A/B tests and optimize email campaigns
Maintain list quality through detailed checks
Qualifications:
Retention Marketing Experience: Proven experience in lifecycle retention marketing is a must, with a deep understanding of churn, customer lifecycle, and marketing funnels, focusing on email marketing campaigns and adapting to various brand styles.
Marketing Fundamentals: Advanced knowledge of marketing theories and methods, including retention strategies, lifecycles, and key marketing principles.
Proven Experience with Email Marketing: Hands-on experience in full email campaign workflow, strategizing, segmenting, coordinating design & content, creating the campaign in an ESP with a drag & drop builder, checking for mistakes, scheduling campaigns, evaluating effectiveness, and adjusting strategies based on results.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to campaign accuracy, audience segmentation, and email marketing fundamentals.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Klaviyo and similar platforms
Copywriting experience
Familiarity with image formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP)
Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English. Ability to confidently present results to internal teams and clients.
Innovation: Ability to suggest and implement new email methods and tools.
AI Tools: Experience with AI tools for possible integration into campaigns while maintaining a strong human touch.
