We're Looking for a Valet Parking Attendant at Lennox Hotel Miami Beach

As a Valet Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and professional valet parking services while providing an exceptional guest experience. You will play a key role in maintaining an organized hotel entrance, ensuring vehicle security, and delivering welcoming and attentive service to every guest.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive, park, and retrieve guest vehicles in designated parking areas, following traffic laws and hotel safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, assisting with inquiries, and offering directions and general hotel information.
• Inspect vehicles for visible pre-existing damage and report any concerns or incidents according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle information, parking locations, tickets, and keys.
• Follow established key control and security procedures, ensuring guest vehicles and belongings are properly secured.
• Verify proper authorization before releasing vehicles and prevent unauthorized access.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming hotel entrance, managing vehicle traffic and preventing congestion during busy periods.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Bellmen, and Security teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals, departures, and transportation assistance.
• Assist guests with luggage and transportation arrangements when required.
• Operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely, as well as golf carts or other authorized property vehicles when necessary.
• Handle parking payments and cash transactions accurately when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet station and surrounding areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate complaints, vehicle damage, accidents, or security concerns to management.
• Follow hotel safety policies, emergency procedures, and applicable traffic regulations at all times.
• Support overall guest satisfaction by delivering efficient, courteous, and professional service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in valet parking, guest services, or similar hospitality positions preferred.
• Experience in luxury or boutique hotels is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate automatic transmission vehicles; proficiency in manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety and security procedures.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Schedule: This position requires full availability during mornings and afternoons. Eight-hour shifts may be scheduled between 6:00 am and 12:00 am, including weekends and holidays.

Work Location: Miami South Beach, FL.

Physical Demands: This position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking, frequent entry and exit from vehicles, and the ability to bend, reach, and assist with luggage or items weighing 15 pounds or more. The role also involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and rain, while following safe work practices.

Work Authorization: Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
