In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our café runs smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. What Do We Value?
- Supervise daily operations of the café during your shift, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage and train staff on food handling, customer service, and sales techniques.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation are maintained at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Utilize POS systems (including lightspeed POS) for transactions and reporting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of previous experience in food service or café management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Proficiency in math for cash handling and inventory management.Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems; lightspeed POS experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Flexibility: Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands Prolonged periods of being stand and working on computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
Work Authorization Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
