Senior Java Developer (hold)

Join Our Team:

Become a part of our core backend team, which is responsible for high-performance services that serve both customers and other system components. Our team also manages operational data and other infrastructure services, ensuring the system remains at peak performance.

Tech Stack:

Java, Spring, Cassandra, Protobuf, Spark, AWS services (SQS, Lambda, S3, Athena, EMR, and others), Redis, and more.

Your Role:

• Take ownership of core backend services within a dynamic, growing backend infrastructure team.
• Develop backend components with high throughput and near real-time latency.
• Engage in technologically advanced projects, solving diverse, complex problems at scale.
• Collaborate with Data Pipeline, Data Science, DevOps, Frontend Development, Product, and other teams.
• Play a significant role in a small company where every team member is crucial and part of an elite group.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Golang.
• Strong server-side skills.
• Experience working with Spark.
• Familiarity with high throughput, low latency, mission-critical distributed systems.
• Experience with large-scale production databases.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a highly collaborative setting.
• Quick adaptability to changes and a strong desire to learn and grow.

Bonus Points:

• AdTech experience and understanding of ORTB.
• Experience with web clients and HTTP/Rest APIs.
• SAAS product development experience.
• BigData-oriented development experience.
• Experience with Aerospike, Spring, EMR, Docker & Kubernetes, and Maven.
