Lead Solutions Engineer

 Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Client Management: Collaborate with the sales team and our product managers to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions. Work closely with customers to assess their existing systems and infrastructure.

Build Scalable Solutions: Lead the development and customization of LOS for each client, enabling the exponential increase in the amount of businesses powered by the company.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Solutions Engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Sprint Planning: Convert client requirements into actionable tasks, and have the ability to prioritize workload based on delivery timelines. Leverage a strong ownership mindset to achieve successful project management.

Delivery Management: Ensure on-time delivery to meet client timelines, and conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions.

Sales Support: Play a key role in the pre-sales process, including conducting high-level product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept projects.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to ensure the Solutions team & product is aligned with the companys objectives and goals.

Team Building: Mentor and coach team members, providing technical expertise, guidance on problem-solving, and support for personal & professional development. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring a strong, cohesive team culture.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus

Proven technical experience as a lead software engineer (or higher) with an eagerness to grow

Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a technical team

Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud computing, and enterprise-level applications

Hands-on experience in building and owning software solutions using React and NodeJS

Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL and NoSQL databases

In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, like AWS, and experience with cloud-based architectures

Experienced in implementing API integrations, connecting workflows, and organizing data

Exceptional ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

Problem-solving mindset with ability to simplify complex requirements into actionable solutions

Superior organizational skills and obsessively detail-oriented

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Advanced proficiency in English

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Prior experience within financial industry is preferred, but interest in learning about complex financial products is required

Familiarity with low-code tools, specifically Retool and workflow management software

Expertise with product & sprint management tools, specifically Linear

Champion for collaborative work through Google Docs and Notion
