Our partner is one of the most successful solar energy companies in the Netherlands, based in the Utrecht region. For over 10 years, they have been active in the development, sale, construction, and maintenance of large-scale solar energy systems on rooftops and land in the Netherlands, Germany and Scandinavia.

Due to ongoing growth and increasing project complexity, our client is seeking a Utility-Scale Solar Service Technician to ensure the optimal technical performance of large-scale solar parks.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
  • Troubleshoot issues for clients & perform preventive maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing cables, cleaning panels, resetting inverters).
  • Commission new energy systems.
  • Carry out (handover) inspections of energy systems (including panels and mounting systems).
  • Implement and maintain innovative solutions (e.g., batteries, agri-PV).
  • Coordinate with the planning/service department to determine the best route and upcoming tasks.
Your Expertise:
  • Electrical engineering knowledge at least MBO level with practical experience preferred.
  • Training for working with low voltage (and possibly medium voltage).
  • VCA-Basis certification.
  • Preferably familiar with NEN 3140.
  • Driver's license (Category B).
  • Experience with solar energy systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and/or English.

  • Salary between EUR 3,500 - 3,800 based on your knowledge and experience.
