Partnerships Manager
As our Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing on partnerships that support the business goals. This role will work closely with other members of the management team to identify and assess potential partnerships with local and national government departments. Previous experience in government relations is a must for this position!
Responsibilities
- Partnership Development: Identify potential partners within the local and national government. Initiate contact, establish relationships, and explore collaboration opportunities with these entities.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in partner organizations. Foster trust, transparency, and mutual benefit to establish long-term partnerships
- Opportunity Identification: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to identify potential business opportunities for the company. Evaluate the viability and suitability of partnerships based on strategic alignment and revenue potential.
- Revenue Generation: Develop strategies and initiatives to translate partnership opportunities into revenue streams. Collaborate with internal teams to design innovative products, services, or data solutions that leverage partner capabilities and drive revenue growth.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Lead negotiations with potential partners, discussing terms, conditions, and partnership agreements. Collaborate with legal and business teams to ensure contracts are well-drafted, compliant, and aligned with the policies and regulations. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between company and partner organizations.
- Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the success and impact of partnerships. Regularly monitor and evaluate partnership performance against agreed-upon goals, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Foster a culture of achievement in the sales team by encouraging reps to hit or exceed their quotas.
- Mentor and train sales reps to improve performance, reduce turnover, and provide on-the-job support.
- Track performance metrics across the team and create revenue reports for stakeholders.
- Design and implement a scalable sales strategy that can grow with the business.
- Continuously iterate on and improve upon sales processes as the business evolves and expands into new markets.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and events. Build and maintain a strong reputation for the company as a trusted partner and industry leader. Actively participate in relevant industry associations and initiatives.
