Role Description

The Academic Coordinator will play a central role in managing academic programs, maintaining standards, and supporting both instructors and students. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of vocational education frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of training programs across multiple trades or disciplines
  • Supervise and support instructors to ensure effective teaching and adherence to curriculum
  • Monitor student performance, attendance, and academic progress
  • Ensure academic compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards
  • Develop class schedules, exam timetables, and academic calendars
  • Organize faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
  • Review and update course materials in collaboration with subject experts
  • Handle academic documentation, including assessments, evaluations, and progress reports
  • Act as a liaison between faculty, administration, and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Management, or a relevant technical/vocational field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in academic coordination or training program management
  • Familiarity with vocational education systems and competency-based training models
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and academic management tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu
