Our Requirement:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising civil projects, preferably in construction or infrastructure development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Valid certifications in safety standards and regulations, including:
- SA002 Safety Underground
- Manual Handling (online certification)
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- NRSWA Unit 10-15 (New Roads and Street Works Act)
- C+G Level 2 Award in Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces (Top Man/Entrant) (6150-52) or equivalent.
Position Overview:
- We are seeking a competent and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage subcontractors involved in various civil projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a background in telecommunications network infrastructure or related fields, coupled with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage subcontractors engaged in civil projects, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and according to project plans.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all safety standards and regulations, including but not limited to SA002 Safety Underground, Manual Handling (online certification), SSSTS, NRSWA Unit 10-15, and C+G Level 2 Award in Working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces (Top Man/Entrant) (6150-52).
- Provide leadership and guidance to subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and address potential hazards or non-compliance issues.
- Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Document and report any incidents, accidents, or near misses in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
