Core Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain product backlogs and user stories
  2. Daily trading responsibilities (including product and portfolio execution)
  3. Managing team to ensure optimization of product and category pages including super cats and banners, via Endeca
  4. Deep sales analysis on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis to develop immediate and long term strategy
  5. Produce weekly trading reports including key KPIs such as ASP, AOV, Conversion, best sellers in order to react to changes in trends and forecasts
  6. Manage the Gross Profit and Gross margin to ensure we achieve budgeted profitability
  7. Manage allocator to ensure minimal missing SKUs
  8. Provide direction for the e-commerce marketing team regarding key products/lines to push throughout all marketing channels
  9. Select products to be featured in weekly emails based on over and under performers
  10. Provide direct oversight and supervision of agency traders ensuring all equity, option and ETF orders are handled according to the firms best execution quality standards

  4. To be responsible for assisting in the controlling, managing, and delivering of all key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements.
  5. To ensure compliance with Company Procedures and Legislation always relating to Health & Safety.
  6. To adhere to and be an ambassador of all safe and legal practices and to ensure both yourself and your team work in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidance notes, challenging adherence and strive for continuous improvement.
  7. To be responsible for your teams performance management, 1:1s, return to works and PARs. This includes the annual review process, which requires you to chair your TLs annual 1 to 1 Be the Difference reviews and support your TLs with chairing the Customer Assistants annual 1to1 Be The Difference reviews.
  8. To schedule resources in line with store needs in ensuring a consistently outstanding customer experience.
  9. To take responsibility for the co-ordination, delivery of training and for the development of Trading team members (including new team members).
  10. To be the person in store responsible for security matters and to support the team in reducing shrink through accurate stock count procedures.
  11. Responsible for the presentation of the Booths brand including all POS and marketing materials.
  12. To manage and lead execution of all shop floor changed to include promotion period changeovers and special events.
  13. To ensure replenishment and availability is of the highest possible standard to execute the highest standards of shop keeping.
  • Accountable for the back of house operation and management. As part of the Store Management Team your accountabilities will beCoach, develop, drive and challenge all within the store team in ensuring business success.
  • Take accountability for other roles within the management team as required always ensuring that store standards are maintained.
  • To be responsible for the daily management of team members, maintaining a high standard of communication through team briefings, colleague reviews and one to one conversation. Including leading on HR /people management issues.
  • To be prepared to work flexibly including early morning, evenings, core days, weekend and out of hours call-outs.
  • To be the first point of contact for any store specific issues in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Support the Store Manager in being an agent for change, leading from the front and ensuring that changes within the business are understood, bought into and delivered.
