Role Summary:
The Head of General Trading will lead multi-sector trading operations across automotive products, telecom materials, machinery, and tools. The role focuses on business expansion, supplier management, sales growth, and overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute trading strategies across auto, telecom, machinery, and tools segments
- Identify and onboard reliable global/local suppliers and vendors
- Drive B2B sales, key account management, and contract negotiations
- Expand market presence across UAE and international markets
- Oversee procurement, pricing, inventory, and supply chain efficiency
- Monitor market trends, demand, and competitor activities
- Ensure profitability, cost control, and healthy margins across product lines
- Lead and manage sales, procurement, and operations teams
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 8–15 years of experience in general trading, preferably across multiple product categories
- Strong knowledge of auto parts, telecom materials, machinery, or tools trading
- Proven network of suppliers, distributors, and corporate clients
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and business development skills
- Experience managing P&L and cross-functional teams
