Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, ensure value for money, and maintain financial control from project initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and financial reporting within telecom, construction, or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope to determine cost implications.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Manage subcontractor evaluations, negotiations, and contract administration.
  • Prepare and verify interim valuations, invoices, and final accounts.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
  • Track variations, claims, and change orders effectively.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial terms.
  • Prepare regular cost reports and financial forecasts for management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying (preferably in telecom, construction, or infrastructure projects).
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract management.
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel (advanced level preferred).
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts or similar frameworks is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • UAE/KSA project experience will be a plus.
