Introduction

NS IT is in a transition to 100% agile working. The objective is to grow from Agile work through DevOps teams to BusDevOps and chain teams. Various initiatives have been launched in the IT-wide MOBILise programme. For this transition, a central team of approximately 18 coaches is active. From the various IT components, teams and individuals they support through teaching, mentoring, coaching and facilitating, towards an increasingly agile (IT) organization. How do we work effectively and optimally agile, in a large organization with interdependencies in different areas? In doing so, you support the further construction of the Agile community with various guilds. Our motto: One culture, one language, one toolkit. The Task

You are as a senior coach part of the coaching team that IT is working broadly to support the transition to agile working. In this role you will be employed in the comIT section, where you will work as a scrum master of a business team. With your seniority you support teams, managers and management to take the right steps. You give the right direction and where necessary you take the lead. In this assignment you will work closely with your fellow Agile and DevOps coaches, tool coaches and SRE consultants to grow the different teams. The current teams are very different: in terms of size, work, maturity and objectives. Because of your broad knowledge and experience in various fields and transformations, you are also able to provide implementation advice to optimize the total value chain and then implement it together with fellow coaches. It is in your nature to share your experience and expertise with your fellow coaches and the various guilds within the (IT) organization. Objective of the coaches: NS IT has a agile and efficient culture and way of working by focusing our coaching and expertise.

 

What we ask from you

You are an experienced coach and an expert in applying Lean and Agile principles at different levels within an organization. You bring a structural approach to the set transformation goals. As a coach you are a good listener and appreciated sounding board. To be successful in this position, you have:

Must have (Knockout):

  • 8 years proven work experience in agile\scrum teams; Needs to be mentioned in the cover letter.
  • 8 years proven work experience in scaled agile teams; Needs to be mentioned in the cover letter.
  • Proven experience with leadership coaching within larger complex organisations; Needs to  be mentioned in the cover letter.
  • Dutch Language

Nice to have:

  • WO knowledge level and work experience;
  • Agile Mindset by Nature;
  • Demonstrable experience in coaching different types of teams, individuals and management;
  • Experience with scaled agile implementations. In terms of design, organisation and execution;
  • Certification as SM and PO. Being a SAFe consultant is a pre;
  • Broad experience in this field, at least 5 companies/clients;
  • Communicatively strong, able to connect well: with teams, within teams, management and colleagues;
  • High organizational sitivity. Naturally, the interventions are needed and the roles of coach, mentor, facilitator and master can alternate seamlessly;
  • Skill and will to contribute to the knowledge building of fellow coaches and the joint coach toolkit;
  • Systemic coaching and context guiding are indispensable.
