Introduction:

We are looking for a Medior Tester for our end customer from Schiedam.

Function:

As a Medior Test Engineer you are a real bridge builder between IT and the business. Based on customer journeys, epics, features, user stories and functional and non-functional requirements, you make the link to functionality to be realized across the various systems in our integrated landscape. You do this from a quality perspective and apply realism in the adjustments to be implemented. We work with several Agile teams in which you provide your test contribution and thus maintain an overview of integrated solutions and changes. Thanks to your testing, the integral software processes are expected to function well in the business, which means that our products and services will improve.

Team: young team of about 20 people, open and direct. 

Your duties:

• Setting up, executing and maintaining test cases for new functionalities to be realized and regression on existing software;

• Testing and formulating acceptance criteria in the user stories as a basis for designing and executing test cases with associated (customer / contract) situations, result expectation and execution instructions;

• Aligning (testing) expertise with and presenting it to colleagues and key users;

• Reviewing and reporting on the quality of customer journeys, epics, features, user stories and functional and non-functional requirements;

• Preparing and executing periodic integration, acceptance & chain regression tests;

• Switch with all Agile teams about links, content and delivery dates

We also ask

• A completed HBO education towards ICT or Business Administration;

• Experience in the telecom industry, for example Vodafone Ziggo, T-Mobile or KPN, especially on back office systems;

• Three years of proven experience as a Test Engineer, or for example Test Consultant, Test Analyst or Functional Tester;

• Having an ISTQB Foundation with Extension Agile Tester and DevOps Foundation is a plus;

• Microsoft Team Foundation Server is in your luggage.
