 Job Description:

Introduction

The Dutch Tax Authority growing a small and flexible team that provides ad-hoc solutions in the Tax and Customs Administration and Process landscape. Given the (fiscal) importance of the continuity of the primary processes of the tax authorities, being able to quickly offer high-quality and technically appropriate solutions is crucial. The team is focusing on solving all possible technical and process issues. Recurring assignments are: Realization Small Entrepreneurship Scheme (300,000 entrepreneurs, Carbon Tax (800,000 vehicles,> 10mlj messages), rebuilding Contribution Ecclesiastical Institutions, rebuilding application dividend tax, etc.

The organization is responsible for and provides the ICT facilities. Most of the applications are currently being developed, maintained and managed by the organization in its own data center. In addition to ensuring continuity in the massive levy and collection processes that take place within a solid, stable environment, efforts are also being made to modernize the IT landscape. This is partly done internally by making use of the expertise that is available internally, but also by attracting (ready-made) solutions and expertise from the market.

 

The Task

Communicate more easily with the tax authorities? This is arranged at the gate of the Tax and Customs Administration, which we also internally refer to as domain standard transaction services. In other words: the digital mailroom of the Tax and Customs Administration. Here the systems are developed and maintained that enable citizens, companies, but also other governments to communicate with the tax authorities. Quality comes first because the correct functioning of our information flows is always in the spotlight.

A specific area of attention for this function is the scanning and digitization of forms, as is carried out both centrally and locally within the Tax and Customs Administration. The project involves rebuilding the document capture system according to the latest standards. We assume the use of Microservices built in .NET Core with Angular as frontend. This is done using the Datacap package, part of the IBM ECM suite. As a developer you work within an Agile-Scrum team on the design and realization of complex, robust and well-documented applications for the tax process of the Tax and Customs Administration. You are also responsible for the maintenance and support of the existing process support applications and for solving and handling disruptions, bugs and problems.

 

What we ask from you

-          Service Design Experience

-          At least 3 years experience in .NET \ C#

-          At least 2 years experience with Angular, Docker, Git and Azure DevOps

-          Knowledge of Windows Server Management

-          It would be great if you also know about TFS, Scripting, VB-script

-          You have a (internal) customer centric attitude

-          Very good command of the Dutch and/or English language
