Description:

Senior Data Engineer / Databricks Developer to support its Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Tech division. The role involves developing data solutions to support risk assessment and regulatory compliance in financial crime prevention. The candidate will work in a dynamic, international environment focused on data-driven decision-making.

Scope of Services / Deliverables:

• Develop applications delivering accurate data to FEC risk managers

• Implement new features for FEC-related topics

• Design and develop solutions using the Microsoft Azure stack

• Build scalable data products for Self-Service BI

• Ensure compliance with data management standards

• Support the FEC SIRA & RAS departments with monitoring and managing risks

Skills and Qualifications:

• HBO/WO education level

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer

• Extensive experience with SQL and ETL solution development

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Azure DevOps)

• Knowledge of Analysis Services and data modelling

• Proficient in SQL, Python, Spark

• Strong communication skills

• Agile environment experience

• Problem-solving and results-oriented mindset

• Quick learner and collaborative team player

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of banking or financial risk management domains

• Familiarity with FEC, SIRA, and RAS processes

• Dutch language (not confirmed, but a potential plus)
