Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our talented team. - The location is in Weaverville, CA, United States
- The working schedule for this role is NIGHTS on call; most patients are in the swing unit
- The duration is for a contractor for 13 weeks
- The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
- Holiday coverage is required
- 36 hours guarantee
- Overtime starts after 40 hours
- EMR used: CPSI/Evident
- This is a small rural hospital

Key Responsibilities:
- Typically working with another RN and/or LVN as well as a Nurse Assistant
- RNs are required to administer care as directed by the physician
- Must be reliable and willing to work within a team environment
- Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
- Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
- Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments
- Recording patient vital signs and medical information
- Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests
- Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Administering non-intravenous medications
- Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
- Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or master degree in nursing preferred
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR
- ACLS certification
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
- Basic computer skills
- Professional, friendly attitude
