We are teamed up with an organization seeking compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join their new in-house team. The Physical Therapist will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their physical function. This role involves collaborating with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients physical conditions, mobility, strength, and functional abilities
    • Identify and diagnose physical impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities through assessments and clinical observations
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation:
    • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans based on assessment findings and client goals
    • Use evidence-based techniques and therapeutic exercises to improve clients physical function, mobility, and overall health
  • Client Care and Support:
    • Provide direct therapy services including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities
    • Educate clients and their families on exercise routines, injury prevention, and strategies to manage their conditions effectively
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and outcomes
  • Program Development and Improvement:
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of departmental programs and services
    • Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities
  • Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure that all therapy practices adhere to regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
    • Stay informed about industry best practices and integrate them into therapeutic interventions

Qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience as a physical therapist in acute care facility
  • Completion of Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, entry level Masters Degree or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited college or university
  • Current California license
  • BLS (CPR) certification
