Job Description:
As a System Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation of the back-end processes of a website. Responsibility will be to receive orders and ensure that the order information is accurate and complete before they are ready to be fulfilled.
Responsibilities:
1. Order Management: Receive incoming orders through the website's back-end system and review them for accuracy and completeness.
2. Order Verification: Verify order details such as product selection, quantity, pricing, shipping address, and any special instructions provided by the customer.
3. Documentation: Generate and print order receipts or invoices, ensuring that they include all relevant information such as order number, customer details, itemized products, pricing, and payment information.
4. Communication: Collaborate with various teams, including warehouse personnel, shipping carriers, and customer support, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
5. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure that products are available for shipment.
6. Problem Resolution: Address any discrepancies or issues with orders, such as damaged products, incorrect shipments, or missing items, by coordinating with the relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
7. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of order status, tracking numbers, and customer interactions in the back-end system or any other designated software.
8. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of order fulfillment operations.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, such as order processing, dispatching, or logistics coordination, is highly desirable.
