About Us
WEC (World Engineering Corp S.A.S.) is a growing company with operations in Colombia, specialized in architectural visualization, 3D design, and technology development.

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team for a mid-term technical project, with the possibility of continuity based on performance and project scope.

What You Will Do

  • Design and optimize cloud architectures to support interactive applications and AI processes.

  • Implement and manage deployment pipelines (CI/CD).

  • Configure microservices environments with Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Manage infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Ensure security, scalability, and efficient use of cloud resources.

  • Implement monitoring and logging tools to guarantee stability.

  • Collaborate with programmers, Unreal Engine developers, and 3D architecture teams for project integration.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.

  • Proficiency with services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda (or equivalents).

  • Resource and cost optimization in cloud environments.

  • CI/CD: experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI (at least one).

  • Automation with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and kubectl.

  • Monitoring setup with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

  • Basic knowledge of cloud security and networking (VPC, IAM, VPNs, Firewalls).
  • Nice to have: experience integrating AI environments or ML pipelines (MLOps).

Conditions

  • Project-based freelance contract (approx. 610 hours per week).

  • Work location: Bogotá, Colombia (at least one in-office day per week required).
  • Potential for long-term collaboration depending on results and project needs.
