About the job Data Entry Clerk
We are currently seeking a data entry clerk to support our operations team. Knowledge of data confidentiality principles is mandatory and the company will rely on you to have accurate, up-to-date data that is easily accessible through a digital database.
Applicants must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multi-task, have strong organizational skills and be proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Word / Excel.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather and sort information according to priorities for computer input.
- Ensure data validation: checking for errors and correcting incompatibilities.
- Maintain data systems.
Administrative skills:
- Ability to enter (type) data into a computer quickly, accurately and as requested.
- Ability to type quickly and efficiently.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel. Use of other computer programs a plus.
- Detail oriented to ensure accuracy of data.
- Time management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and responsibility.
Knowledge of languages:
- Ability to read, write and speak correctly, correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
