POSITION SUMMARY:
The position involves entering information into the company's database/computer system in order to facilitate the process of documenting and retrieving information for all warehouse transactions performed by the company. QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to type quickly, accurately and with minimal errors.
Must be able to process alphanumeric information.
Ability to communicate in English (read and write) in a business environment.
Ability to work with limited supervision, multi-task, prioritize and have strong initiative.
Must be flexible to work extended hours, holidays and/or weekends as needed.
Preferred.
Industry experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create warehouse receipt for all incoming shipments in a timely manner.
Reconcile expected freight to warehouse receipt tally sheets.
Present warehouse receipt information to internal customers within established parameters.
Scan bills of lading (POD) into our computer system and send a copy to our customers accurately.
Maintain inventory integrity in a warehouse receipt transaction.
Meet required shipment deadlines.
Secondary
Enter and process corrections or adjustments to the database.
Ensure that all information pertaining to a specific shipment is entered into the system.
Assist company data entry clerks in performing additional warehouse operations as required.
Assist in the physical inspection of freight to reconcile paperwork inconsistencies with physical inconsistencies as needed.
Perform related duties as assigned.
