About the job Data Entry Specialist
Our office is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to perform a variety of tasks. In this position, you will be responsible for scanning documents and typing important information into our database. Our ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and excellent typing skills. You must take the 10-key typing test before we will hire you. It is also a major advantage if you are familiar with common business software, such as vendor management and billing programs and Microsoft Outlook. We work with a large volume of data, so you must be able to work to a tight deadline.
Duties and Responsibilities
Scan documents to obtain digital files
Enter information into our database
Maintain an organized filing system
Establish organizational standards
Perform additional administrative tasks, such as billing
Data Entry Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or GED certificate
Strong typing skills
Experience with databases and common business software
Excellent organizational skills
