Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving bulk sales performance for edible oil products within the assigned territory. This includes developing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, expanding market coverage, and achieving volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow bulk edible oil sales within the assigned region.
- Manage and expand key accounts to ensure strong business relationships and consistent order generation.
- Conduct regular market visits to gather market intelligence and identify opportunities for volume and revenue growth.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, taking corrective action when required.
- Prepare timely sales reports, market insights, and performance dashboards.
- Recommend improvements in pricing, product mix, promotions, and market approach.
- Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely stock availability and delivery.
- Oversee distributor management including stock levels, order cycles, and route-to-market efficiency.
Requirements
- MBA or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or bulk edible oil sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, analytical thinking, and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel and thrive in a field sales environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with digital sales tools is an added advantage.
- Fluency in the local language is an added advantage.
