Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tally Accountant to join our FMCG team in Anthony. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Tally ERP software and a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and inventory management within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions using Tally ERP.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.

• Maintain and update the general ledger.

• Monitor inventory transactions and coordinate with the warehouse/sales team for stock reconciliation.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Assist in tax preparation and statutory compliance (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.).

• Support internal and external audit processes.

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP software is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience with inventory and stock management.

• Good analytical and numerical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
