Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and oversee sales operations across the Eastern region of Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the FMCG sector, with a proven track record in selling biscuits, confectionery, or sweets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive growth, manage key accounts, and lead a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Eastern region to achieve revenue and market share targets.

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed individual and regional sales goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.

  • Ensure consistent implementation of trade marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

  • Analyze sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector, with a focus on biscuits, confectionery, or sweets.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently within the Eastern region.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
